THE WET TROPIC TIMES ARE GRATEFUL THAT WE ARE JUST MONTHS AWAY FROM HAVING A CUSTOM-MADE WEBSITE.

THIS NEW WEBSITE WILL HELP US ENSURE THAT OUR LOCAL AREA STILL HAVE LOCAL ISSUES REPORTED ON.

OUR REPORTING WILL BE ACCURATE AND IT WILL BE PROVIDED BY LOCAL PEOPLE FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL PEOPLE.

WE ARE THE ONLY LOCALLY OWNED INDEPENDENT MEDIA COMPANY THAT CURRENTLY COVERS FROM BABINDA TO INGHAM.

NOW THAT THE INNISFAIL ADVOCATE AND HERBERT RIVER EXPRESS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM PUBLICATION THIS HAS PUT RURAL ISSUES ON THE BACK SEAT WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICIANS HEARING ABOUT THEIR NEEDS. HAVING YOUR OWN NEWSPAPER/ MEDIA IS IMPORTANT TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE STILL HEARD BY YOUR POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVES.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP!

There is so much to see in the Wet Tropic Region of Australia, as you can see from just a small snippet of images from across the region.

We here at the Wet Tropic Times are excited to share our neck of the woods with the world to ensure that everyone knows the best place to travel to when they get out to lockdown and are allowed back into Australia.

These are just some random snippets from around the region, but for those that have travelled the world you know that there is no place that is more beautiful to go.
